The Cue Shaft looks Dull at the tip end?

All Cues are a smooth Matt finish on the top where you slide the cue on your hand, some cues you cant see this, Some Painted or high gloss range of cues you can see it. if the cue was gloss to the top, it wouldn’t slide in your hand to play pool.
