Here’s what to consider when buying your first pool cue:

Cue Length — Opt for a cue that matches the player’s height. While standard pool cues measure 57 inches, younger or shorter players might find a better fit with our range of short cues designed for ease of handling and improved control.
Cue Condition — Ensure the tip is securely attached and there are no cracks in the ferrule or the wood of the cue.

Sighting — Hold the cue against a light source, like a window, and spin it slowly, observing from the butt to the tip for any irregularities.

Shaft Roll — Detach the cue’s shaft and roll it gently on its own. This method reduces the taper’s influence but doesn’t fully represent the cue’s straightness, so it’ slightly less accurate than the other two techniques.

Low-deflection cues
