Mako Escape 9581 — G3SX Copper Photochromic Crown Glass Lens
The Escape is shaped for anglers, sitting comfortably around the face to block distracting light from multiple angles. Finished in Matte Black, this version is built to deliver a controlled field of view with less light leaking around the frame.
The real difference is the G3SX Copper Photochromic Crown Glass. The copper filter enhances contrast and the photochromic lens darkens automatically in sunlight, making it useful from low light through brighter conditions. Mako does not specify High Definition or Infra-Red filters for G3SX.
Choose G3SX when one lens must handle changing light during freshwater or inshore fishing, driving and long outdoor sessions. In the Escape, the lens is paired with a frame designed for confident outdoor use rather than a generic one-size-fits-all story.
