How to use Rigstraight
Rigstraight is built to be the easy jighead alignment tool for soft plastics: measure the hook path, centre the plastic and pull the jighead through so the lure is rigged straight from the start.
- Match the tool to your plastic and hook. Use Rigstraight Original for 2-7 inch plastics and hooks up to 7/0. Use Bigstraight XL for 4-10 inch plastics and hooks up to 10/0.
- Lay the soft plastic in the Rigstraight channel. Sit the nose at the front and keep the body centred in the cradle so the lure is held in line.
- Measure the jighead exit point. Lay the jighead hook alongside the plastic and use the tool to line up where the hook point needs to come out of the body.
- Start the hook dead-centre through the nose. Begin at the middle of the plastic nose so the jighead follows the correct centreline.
- Pull the plastic onto the jighead. Bring the hook point out at the measured exit point and seat the nose neatly against the jighead head or keeper.
