A practical painting workflow

1. Prepare and clean the lure blank.
2. Lay down the base colour and main colour blocks.
3. Use smaller brush work for bars, spots, cheek details, gill accents and touch-ups.
4. Allow the paint system to cure as required.
5. Add eyes and holographic accents when the finish is ready.
6. Apply a compatible protective finish if your paint system calls for one.
7. Rig the lure, water-test it and make any final tuning adjustments.
