Description
Atomic Plazos Skinny Grub 4 Inch Soft Plastic Fishing Lure (20 Pack) is a larger finesse curl-tail profile made for anglers wanting a longer profile without the bulk of a heavier paddle tail or shad. The 4 Inch Skinny Grub is a sleeper on deeper edges. Drop it beside the pylon, hold contact, then lift just enough to wake the tail. The bite often comes as the lure hangs there, with a flathead, bass or school jew making the rod load slow and heavy.
The classic Plazos PVC material keeps the proven feel, durability and reliable action that made these profiles a favourite across Australian estuaries, dams and inshore grounds.
Why this bait earns a spot in the tackle box
- Pack quantity: 20 soft plastic lures per pack.
- Profile: long slim curl-tail grub.
- Action: The slim body keeps the profile natural while the curl tail keeps working on the slowest retrieve or vertical drop.
- Material: classic Plazos PVC soft plastic.
- Best water: deeper flats, bridge pylons, weed edges, timber, rock walls and slow-current holes.
- Target species: flathead, bass, bream, estuary perch, snapper and school mulloway.
How to fish it
Use a jighead heavy enough to stay in touch, then crawl, lift, drop or vertical jig it where fish are holding. Work it slowly when fish are cautious, then add sharper twitches, hops or speed changes when predators are chasing bait.
Colour range
Available colours in this listing: Old Penny, UV Radioactive Rooster, Rainbow Bass, Red Pumpkin, UV Motor Oil Gold, Black, Brown Crawdad, Camo Tiger, Carolina Pumpkin Holograph, Electric Chicken, Ghost Pearl, Avocado.
Complete the setup
Pair it with suitable jigheads, weedless hooks, braid and fluorocarbon leader to match the water depth, cover and fish size. A straight rig, loop knot and controlled pause will get the most natural action from this plastic.
