Dart boards are made from Sisal (good quality boards) or Paper (Cheap boards),

Sisal a natural product, there can will always some variation in the board’s appearance, including cracks and lines, every Sisal dart board will have this in every brand.

WHY? Sisal Dartboards are made using Sisal that is shaped into a tube, then this is cut into biscuits and pressed into the round dart board, the board is then sanded, painted and blade/wire pressed or stapled.

When you see cracks you are noticing the edges of each biscuit after it is pressed creating the dart board. if you require a dart board with no cracks you will need to purchase a cheap paper board that is made from a coil of paper.
